Doug Harvin .

Doug Harvin is a senior director in Global Infrastructure & Project Finance Group at Fitch Ratings. He leads the company's efforts in rating analysis and research for power and energy project transactions in the US and Latin America.

Prior to joining Fitch in 2000, Doug had been employed at CornerStone Energy Advisors as a senior project manager. During that time, he developed market forecasts and performed due diligence for the valuation, acquisition, and financing of merchant power facilities. He began his career as a mechanical engineer with the predecessor of Raytheon Engineers & Constructors, working on the design and construction of power projects and industrial facilities. Subsequently, he was in the project finance practice at Sargent & Lundy, providing the financial due diligence in support of the lender's independent technical review.

Doug holds BS and MS degrees in mechanical engineering from Bucknell University and an MBA from Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
